[NEEDS SAVES] [DU] Sim didn't receive presentation board/ Gone Missing

I know how to fix it with the mod and that's what I'm doing but I saw on an old thread where people were being asked to make a new thread if they're having that problem

Well don't be surprised. I often log on to discover I am experiencing a bug that's been known for YEARS. And apparently this is another. She has ONE day left of the term and I am livid. Why not just put the stinkin' thing somewhere that we can buy it. That can't be that hard?

This is still happening. The mod won't work because it's fixed. I have the latest updates and no mods or custom content.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have a sim who is in their first term at university. They had completed their presentation and went to class. When they came back there was no presentation board. I've tried the email professor trick and still not working. I have room mates but will probably now fail the class. The presentation board was in the house not in the inventory
What happens when the bug occurs? When you leave the lot with your sim and come back
What do you expect to see? I expect the presentation board to still be there when I get back
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I've looked at other threads for this same problem and the tread said this was resolved. This is not resolved

What happens when the bug occurs? My sim's term presentation disappears from inventory and can't get it back
What do you expect to see? Term presentation in the inventory.

I am having the same issue. My sim moved from the dorms to his own home with his new bride. When I went to have her do her presentation, his disappeared from his inventory and not hers. Then I had to have her give her presentation again and I can't get his back even with the workaround of emailing the professor. 

Is anyone else having a issue with the presentation board going missing in sims 4 university. It said The board would be in the inventory but it’s not. I play sims on Xbox btw and I know it’s probably better on PC but don’t have one at the moment. I don’t really want to continue playing it I know it’s not a big deal you can still get ok grades but I wanted the best grades for my sims. If anyone can help that would be amazing.

I'm on Xbox console.   

My Sim was working on her presentation at Darby's Den then she went home.  When I tried to send her to do her presentation, it wasn't in her inventory.  I tried what was suggested by others by emailing her professor for a status report, but still no presentation board. 

HOWEVER when I go into build mode at Darby's Den, her presentation board IS THERE!  But it disappears in live mode. 

How can I get the presentation board back so it's either visible in live mode at Darby's Den OR get it into her inventory??
