[NEEDS SAVES] [DU] Sim didn't receive presentation board/ Gone Missing

Have done "Me Too", just bumping that I just had this today on 1.84.171.1030 without mods. For possible info, the board disappeared when the Debate Showdown items got cleaned up. It had been in her inventory, though, not in the world.

For those who use mods there is one by RevyRei to get it back by emailing the professor of the class **on the computer, not your phone** and the board will go back into your inventory. I've seen on this thread that people are saying the "mod" doesn't work anymore, but I'm not sure if they're referring to this one. I still have it and I had one instance the other day where my the board disappeared from my Sim's inventory so I emailed the professor and it reappeared. It was in their inventory and when I came back onto the lot after traveling elsewhere it was gone.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play the game with the Discover University pack on. Make sure you are taking a class that requires you give a presentation and then leave the main lot you are using.
What happens when the bug occurs? The presentation board (and sometimes the university homework book) will disappear from the sim's inventory when they leave to go to a different lot, making it impossible to complete the task for the required class.
What do you expect to see? Stuff not disappearing from sim's inventory.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I tried to look up a fix for this and it was suggested that I have my sim email their professor about their progress and supposedly I should have gotten a new presentation board but that did not happen. I was able to purchase a new university homework book from the bookshelf but not the presentation board, so unfortunately it looks like I'm going to end up failing this one class.

What do you expect to see? i expect to see the presentation board back in the inventory or at least in the place it was left in

I purchased the discover university pack this Friday and yesterday my sim lost the presentation board after it was left on the university campus. 

I already e-mailed the professor about the progress but the presentation board did not appear back in the inventory.

What can I do to have it back, please?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enroll sim into university, get class that requires a presentation,finish presentation,but not present it to class or professor, Leave lot.
What happens when the bug occurs? Return to home lot, presentation board missing from room where it was completed
What do you expect to see? Presentation board in the same place where it was when left lot.

However,the game would crash when I tried to load the household, so to correct it I moved the family.

Previously, to work around it I would load the save, pick the family and go into build mode.Then, manage world and then pick the family,but that stopped working and at 99% loaded(the family and their lot) the game would crash and go to dashboard, thats when I moved the family.The presentation board was put in my sims inventory, she finished the presentation and it was in a room in the new house.They left to visit in laws and when she returned it was missing.Weird fact, I can see the presentation board in the old house, when NOT on the lot, but when I "visit the lot" and made it "generic" it was no longer there.It is not in her inventory or any of her family's inventory and not in the family inventory. The family is playable again, except my sim is missing her presentation board. This has happened before on two different saves, similar circumstances though.Original lot was in newcrest at Twin Oracle Point moved family to Brindleton Bay the hounds head lot to get them playable again.It was on Hounds Head where the board went missing.If this helps Twin Oracle point was also the lot where the presentation board was lost in the other two saves.

As I have read a lot of people have had this problem, my university presentation board has disappeared. I have read that you can ask your professor on how you are doing and it will give you your board back, I have tried this but no board has been given back. 

The university shops do not sell them, nor do bookshelves. 

I have not got any mods or cc. 

It is not in my sims house, household inventory or sims inventory. 

Please help. 

Presentation board keeps disappearing. 

I have tried to keep the board in inventory and on the lot however it continues to disappear. My sim can not work on or turn the presentation in at all.

What happens when the bug occurs? The game will inform that the presentation board was moved to the household inventory. When you place the presentation board on the new lot and have the seems travel to a different lot and come back, the board has disappeared from the lot and both household and personal inventory
What do you expect to see? The presentation board should be where I placed it at on the new lot

What happens when the bug occurs? The game informs that the board was sent to household inventory. Once the board is placed on the new lot and the sims leave the lot, the board disappears completely from all inventory, both the personal inventory and household. It's nowhere to be seen.
What do you expect to see? The presentation board should be present when it is supposed to be.

It's never done this before to me, but I was reading it has happened to others in the past. I don't know if it was on PC or not, but I use console (ps4) and could not find it anywhere I looked. I even restarted my game and nothing. I don't want my sims hard work in university to go to waste. Feels bad man.

Hello All, i did lost my board when i presented one class, after that i was wondering where do i get another board since i didn't saw nothing on my inventory or anywhere on the campus, i tried this mod you said and i got a replacement on my inventory but the thing is that it only shows the option to put back on inventory 😕 this is so sad, is this really it ?

My sims university presentation board vanished. I did some research online for how to get a new one and it blows my mind that this simple bug has not been fixed in over 5 years by EA. Why can we not just buy a new one from the bookshelf or computer like with the homework book? Get with the program EA. This is unacceptable. Players should not have to download a MOD in order to fix your mistakes.
