Hi, I scrolled to the bottom of an old thread and it said to create a new one if it was still an issue. Hope this is okay.
Since with the traits glitch upon infants interacting with the cake and the 'age up' interaction not working with babies, I can only age up through cas cheats or (in the case of babies) have a Sim from outside my household visit and perform the interaction, I've noticed this to be a thing. So far it has occurred in two separate saves.
My toddlers were spammed notifications that they were prone to hiccups, got negative moodlets from not trying new foods/only drinking milk (when they were eating toddler appropriate food or the same as the rest of the house) and would regularly revert to infant animations (suddenly dropping to the ground when they were standing) only to revert back to regular toddler animations a second later. I've tried debugging them and loading the household to a new save, but it has no impact.
In the first save where this occurred, the infant traits, quirks and moodlets were occurring all the way through to childhood. Eventually I just saved the household to the gallery, started a new save and 'cloned' the child by giving her a twin. The twin didn't have those quirks.
I use absolutely zero mods and cc, and never have, so it is not an issue with those. Any advice?
I merged your post with the bug report on this.
Could you please send your save to EA.

I've gone to bed for the night but will try that when I next have access to my laptop. Thank you.

Sorry, I got sick, had laptop issues, then forgot about this.
After the update, I aged up both my children to teens through the cake interaction. The animations completely disappeared for both, but while the oldest teen is fine, the younger is still getting 'wriggly' infant moodlets and it shows up as still having the trait in his moodlet panel. This increases his playfullness and has him on the verge of hysteria more often than what I usually experience with Sims that have traits such as goofball or who like mischief.
I've managed to work around it by giving him the 'cringe' trait for now so that he can't die from hysteria, but the wriggly moodlets are still showing up. Is it too late to send the file?
