[ARCHIVED] [MWS] Wedding Venues placing as Residential from Gallery

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.105.345.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All content to date
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Go to the gallery and filter by wedding venue 2. Choose any lot and place it as wedding venue 3. Notice the icon on the map 4. Try to throw a wedding party at that venue
What happens when the bug occurs? The newly placed venue is not available to throw a wedding party at. If you enter the lot in build mode, you will find that it's categorized as residential and you have to set it manually to wedding venue
What do you expect to see? The venue being a wedding venue when placed as such and as the icon indicates.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Placing venue as Wedding Venue. It's also not possible to move in a Sim so at this point, the game things it's a wedding venue.

    I am unable to choose a wedding venue for my engaged sims. I can only select the premade venue in Tartosa, and no other venue that I've placed down - including Maxis made venues! I thought this might have been a mod issue since I play with mods, but I removed my mods folder and started a completely fresh save, placed a couple wedding venues made by Maxis, and tried to select one of them for my sim's wedding and none of them showed on the "pick venue" part of the screen. Again, the only venue I can select is the premade wedding venue located in Tartosa. I haven't had this issue in the past so I'm unsure why it's happening now, but it is very frustrating.

    @devampry_ Do you have no other venues at all or just no other wedding venues ?

    Did you place them all from the gallery ? If so, try entering the venue from the map in build mode and make sure it's a wedding venue

    When placing them from the gallery, they are all residential for me although I've placed them as wedding venue and they are showing that way from the map.

    @crinrict That seems to be my issue! I place them as wedding venues and they show as wedding venues, but going in to edit them after being placed, they are apparently residential.

    Having the same trouble, even going into the lot and changing it doesn't seem to work- when you go and try and plan a wedding it's not listed at all.

    @mightyspritesims I don't think so. There's have been issues with placing lots from the gallery and lot types long before For Rent was a thing. I'd rather say it's the other way round. The residential lot issue had something to do with underlying lot type issues the game has had for a long time.
