Could this be the same issue you're seeing ?

Yep, I have also posted there too.
There seems to be a problem with Dormant Werewolves in particular as the game applies the Dark Ley Line modifier if they didn't try for a baby on a lot with that trait.
For now, the only workaround of this is trying for a baby in lots with Dark Ley Line trait.

@EgonVMI merged the threads then
Did you already send your save game to EA ?Very well.
No, I haven't sent the save. I did find a reason in code why it happens (which I also shared in the post), so sending the save would do no good as it'll happen in every save.

I don't know whether this is the same issue (and I;m not submitting my save because it might not be related) but I have a toddler who is a vampire but thinks she's a werewolf.
The reason I think this is connected goes back a couple of generations in my werewolf/occult dynasty. Basically my current adult wolf sim has both the dormant wolf trait and the greater wolf blood trait. I thought this was impossible but apparently it wasn't. She got the dormant trait from her mother who inherited it from her mother (who was an activated werewolf). Whereas her other parent had the greater wolf blood trait. So a double wolf situation.The current adult wolf has three children. The first has the strong bloodline spellcaster trait but is a werewolf. He's grown up fine as a wolf with no glitches, I may cure him and take him on a spellcaster path later but he's not causing any issues rn.
Second child is a wolf, but has the dormant wolf trait. His father is a normal human. He's a child atm but I'm assuming he'll just be a normal wolf when he ages despite only having the dormant trait. In my game these seem to autobecome wolves now...And the third child, Aurelia. Her dad is a vampire. When she was born she had the vampire thing above her head, so she was always a vampire. But then she aged up with the wolf, not the vampire on her stats. As a toddler she was getting wolf fang prompts, and in CAS she had two selves - one was the wolf and the other apparently was the vampire, although it behaved really weirdly and CAS didn't show her with any occult status.
I used the cheat code to remove the wolf trait from her. It took multiple tries before it actually worked. When I did get it to work, her appearance changed automatically from the wolf appearance to the vampire appearance in CAS (bear in mind this is still only a toddler!)Since then she now has the vampire symbol on her stats. But...she is still getting wolf messages about wolf fangs...which I assume are lingering buffs but I don't want to use a mod to remove them.
I'm worried about what will happen when she ages up to teen. But because she doesn't have the dormant wolf trait, I'm not sure if this is a related or the same bug or not :/I am also not sure if it is just this family being that they are generation 5 or 6 now. I moved them from their old house as it was sometimes crashing, but to give context, the second child aged from infant to teen in basically one go (I had to cheat him back to toddler) and the gran had a mid-life crisis as an elder, rather than as an adult, before she passed away. So...it's possible my family is just bugged.
But. Just in case it is related, I wanted to add that as a possible - wolves who for some reason have dormant and active wolf traits can also cause confused offspring.
