[NOT BUG] NPC initiated dates are almost always unsuccessful

@crinrict, no I couldn't complete the goals on either one of the first two dates.  For some reason, both of those sims kept getting the embarrassed buff and I just couldn't get the romance bar to advance much at all.  They were good friends but suddenly kept having "awkward encounter" moods.

I don't usually have a problem meeting the goals.  I don't think I'd had less than gold on a date in about 3 months.

Please answer the following questions:

Are you getting the popups during the date in the task bar letting you know how the date is going?

Are you using mods are custom content?

Are you having a least 10 interactions with your date?

What locations are the dates at?

Can you try a married couple to see if the problem still persists?

I've tested this over the weekend and had no troubles getting successful dates.

As @canelacaliente said, you should get messages on how the date is going.

Mine were not married and successful nonetheless except the last one when my Sim decided to flirt with someone else while on the date. The Date kinda didn't appreciate that :P

1) On the main date in question, I was getting popups but no goals. The date seemed to be going well until the end. 

2) As indicated before, no mods or expansions.

3) I am not completely certain of the number of successful interactions. The venue was crowded at the time and other sims would get in the way. However it was all going well (per the popups) until my Sim needed to use the washroom. There was no opportunity to have any interactions with any third party sims while doing this, so should have been no jealousy triggers or do anything embarrassing or insulting. I am not always able to reproduce this. 

4) Issue is occurring at the Rattlesnake Juice Bar, Oasis Springs. I have not had this problem so far at other venues.

Did the date end immediately after you went to the bathroom or did the counter count down all the way ?

I saw no counter, and it was at some point while I was in the washroom.

Took me a while to get the hang of having good dates when asked out, 

Seems like they have to be super-duper social, having lots of fun and some romance to get the notifications and hopefully a success.

Personally I find it a bit unrealistic, when it comes to what I have to put in, compared to the ones with the goals.

So long story short I got the "Beguiling" skill from City Living and saw that Bella Goth was visiting the city.

I'll make this simple for you... she basically cheated on her husband. I asked her to be my girlfriend. After a few WooHoos and whatnot she asks me on a date.

And of course I go. It was great. Second date that she asks me on I started flirting, kissing and even gave her a massage. A message in the top right corner of the screen

told me that the date was going very well or something like that. But then I have to use the bathroom. While I'm taking a * the timer runs out, the date ends.

After that another message in the top right corner of the screen says that she told me "Well, I guess this is goodbye? Um.. Don't call me, ever."

I was like "What the heck did I do?" Not really much of a problem since the romance meter was full. But still.

I actually thought the "Well, I guess this is goodbye? Um.. Don't call me, ever." wasn't lying haha. But it's all good now.

Will get back to this post when she asks me on another date. And before you ask, there were no goals under the timer since it was an invite from an NPC.
