Is this really a bug though or how the game is made to work?
If I have neighbourhood strories on for townies (unplayed sims) so that they can do whatever they want, move in and out etc, then if they die the furniture dissapears from the house they lived in. So when the next family is going to move in to the vacant house, there is no furnished option to choose from. This is of course very time consuming to fix as I have basically filled every town with houses on every lot. I need to go in and bulldoze the empty house and put a saved furnished copy of the house on the lot. If you have hundreds of houses in your worlds, you can just imagine how much extra work this causes, just to make sure all the houses are inhabitable.
Please fix this, just simply don't let any townies (unplayed sims) empty any lots when they die or move out. Let the furniture stay. It can't be that difficult to fix I guess, right?
I have this issue for so long and unfortunately there is no easy fix...
I remember when Sims autonomously started to move over or marry and then they left the home with nothing inside...the same for Sims that died alone in their own lots tho.
The solution was to install MCCC and make all Sims to have babies, with no exception, so they would have heirs to live in the house. And they could only have relations with homeless Sims, so it avoid houses becoming empty after them moving due marriage.
Very frustrating!
