[OPEN] Can't move into furnished homes

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.52.100.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but Island Living
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to rent apt. where former owner has died. Can't rent furnished as furnishing value shown as $0.
What happens when the bug occurs? Can't rent apartment as furnished but can be worked around. Enter via build mode, make small changes and then option to rent furnished is present. It will be necessary to purchase an item to get a furnished value to appear.
What do you expect to see? Some value for furnishings to remain to complete rental.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

Issue

IX Landgraab, Landgraab Apts. in SM did not have an option to rent furnished.  I guess this was because it showed $0 as the value of the furnishings.

I entered in build mode, found very nice furniture present, so I deleted a couple of items from the closet and added the new vanity with a chair.  This caused a small value for furnishings to show up and enabled renting furnished.  Got into that great view apartment with furniture showing a value of less than $600, lol.

Steps you took for Issue to occur

Was trying to move sim in when I discovered no furnished option.  Checked description more carefully and saw no value shown for furniture.

Save existing prior to installing VG.

Vanilla game.

All content released to date.

Occurring since

It may have been this way since CL was released.  This was the first time I decided to move a sim into that apartment.

Windows 10 Home, fully updated

    @crinrict I already decided to move in the home unfurnished, so I'm afraid my save file is not useful anymore.

    I promise to send the next save file if I encounter this again

    @Heddelviven 1310 In 21 chic street, I have the same problem.in the manage world, I tried to delete the pre-existing furniture at home and install a new one or add furniture that was not previously at home, but this does not work. i found a workaround like this, maybe it helps.I installed a house from the gallery.if you install the house, you start to play with sim, and if you want to move through the phone, it will not work again. load the house from the gallery and move the sim house through manage world before you start playing sim. it works. *no mods in my game.*the main language is not English, I hope I can tell.*

    @Heddelviven i found something new. I think there is no need to download the house from the gallery. Start the game as "load game",. When you want to move with manage world before you start playing with sim, the furniture value does not appear to be 0. and you are moving comfortably. if you accidentally play with sim and it happens to be 0 then add furniture that was not in the house before (i added carpet) (you can go back and wipe the carpet if you want it did not affect the process before moving.) when Manage goes back to the world, the furniture value will improve and move through the manage world, it works.

    @orangesid thanks for testing, I expected that placing the house again from the gallery would solve the issue. I was just too lazy to do that.

    The furniture value indeed appeared to be 0, as the house was very cheap (only paying for walls, floors etc).

    It's just that I'm not satisfied by workarounds on the long run. I want EA to take responsibility and fix bugs like these 🙂

    I tested it in a new save 

    Culpepper House at beginning everything was normal 

    But after I renovated Culpepper 20 the other 3 Lots (Original Furnishing) change to furnishing 0 Simoleons. 

    As I said it was a brand new save nobody lived and nobody died there ...
