[OPEN] Can't pick up Infant/ Toddler

How often does the bug occur? Often (50%-99%)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All content installed except for Vampires, Bust the Dust and For Rent 
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to pick up a toddler
What happens when the bug occurs? The parent says she can't reach him, despite him being right in front of her with plenty of space around him and nothing in the way.
What do you expect to see? I expect my Sim to pick up her toddler
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I attach images. It's happening indoors and in the garden too, often after she's just put him down. I have to exit to Manage Worlds, go back and as the household loads up she is holding him as instructed even though when I left her she was refusing to hold him. I don't know when it started but I've had a lot of issues since patch 1.84. I try Pick Up and the High Chair commands and the Read to Sleep, Put to Bed and Give Bath and each one has the same result.

Hey, I play on a ps4 and have the same problem but with infants. Did you manage to fix the bug?
