[OPEN] Design Tool cannot be used on Tiny Teacher Nesting Blocks (and more)

Would be awesome if this could be fixed 

This issue also extends to the Storybook Nursery Kit toddler blocks

Cannot change swatches on the Antique Blocks using the design tool. I just get an error message instead.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.109.185.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have almost all of them except... Lovestruck, Goth Galore, Castle Estate, Bust the Dust, and Carnival Streetwear.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just enter the game and look for the items
What happens when the bug occurs? The Design Tool does not work on some items.
What do you expect to see? The designer tool to work well with all items in the game
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

When I attempt to use the design tool for the following, there are error messages of not being able to design this item or there is a coding error message with the chair in question. 

“Antique Blocks” from Storybook Nursery Kit

“Tiny Teacher Nesting Blocks” from Base Game

“Country Cottage Dining Chair” from a Base Game download.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place down the journal and try to change its swatch using the design tool. Compare that to how you can do it with the parenthood one
What happens when the bug occurs? Journal cannot be used with design tool
What do you expect to see? To be able to change swatches
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Place down either doctor set and try to use the design tool on them
What happens when the bug occurs? Doctor set cannot be used with design tool
What do you expect to see? To be able to change swatches
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

Please fix

This happens to me with the Nursery set kit nesting blocks. It is now just a shadow on the floor that I nor my sims can use.
I don't know if I can add that save because it might've gotten corrupted.
