[OPEN] Doors/Windows sometimes won't place

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? building a room and trying to place a door
What happens when the bug occurs? I try to place a door in a wall where I normally should be allowed to place it, but it says that it cannot intersect with the wall, it only happens in some rooms others are unaffected by this issue.
What do you expect to see? I expect that I will be allowed to place the door in the wall
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.

Please describe the patch or change you made. I downloaded the new update of the sims 4
One room I built would delete the back exterior door (but not the front exterior door) whenever I tried to resize the room. I earlier thought it was connected to my experimentation with platforms, but I demolished the house and attempted to rebuild it without platforms and got variations on the same problem.
