Depends.
If the lot is a residential one (haunted or compact) you can kick out the Sims living in there while in the world map and then move them back but choosing the option to "bulldoze" on moving.
But if the lot is a community one...unfortunately there is no fix ☹️

I know community lots this is not fixed.
Just started to have this issue after this last patch.
Before the patch I saved my progress while my main Sim was outside of the house in a community lot. But when I tried to send him back home, the game just goes to the main menu and it shows an error message.
I had no Mods...so I decided to install the Better Exceptions to see the problem and here is the issue:
Any idea of what this is?
I have all packs bth.
I attached my last exception file and the last crash as well.
Things I tried:
1 - Repairing the game doesn`t work
2 - I tried to solve by bulldozing the lot from the map view but still no success
I`m still trying to figure out how to fix this.
