Today's patch may have fixed this issue. Is anyone still seeing this particular error after updating the game?
PC: 1.99.305.1020 / Mac: 1.99.305.1220
Console: Version 1.79.25
Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC
Which language are you playing the game in?: English
How often does the bug occur?: Every time I click resume game or load into certain lots
What is your current game version number?: 1.99.264.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? I have all of them except for journey to batuu
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I've been able to load one household so far
What happens when the bug occurs? It sends me to the world selection page and says: "The game failed to load. Error Code: 134:f3b264bf:78e9ac19. It is recommended that you relaunch the game."
What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to play different households without being kicked out
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?: Yes but I removed them when I first came across the issue
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?: The issue appeared after the latest update
It happened to me when I was in the new bar in new appaloosa, My sim seemed to be bugged so I resetted her and deinstalled the mode that better exception suggested I removed and the error has appeared after I launched the game again. I tried loading with and without mods, I tried the advices citred earlier. at last nothing works. I was very excited to try the new pack with my generational save but it doesn't allow me to continue
So I posted about having the same error code.
One of the household I could launch was my sim's sister so I just played as them, ask my sim to move in and then split the household and moved back to the lot I wanted in new appaloosa and it worked. I hope it can help you too
