I tried to make them jog/sing/dance/watch TV/sleep and the moodlet time deducts as normal (e.g. from 15 hours down to 9 hours), however, as soon as the activity is stopped, the timer goes back up by a couple of hours (e.g. from 9 hours back up to 13 hours). If I can manage to get them to do the activity non-stop until the timer is finished, it's fine and the moodlet disappears. However, that's difficult to do, even sleeping. My sim was even jogging and the moodlet had the little green arrows to show it was going down and then as soon as she stopped, there was a notification to say she had burned out, so the moodlet changed to burned out. (I'm doing the making money play scenario if that is relevant.)What do you expect to see? For the moodlet time to stay deducted after a relaxing/creative/energetic activity.Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Hi, so once the sim has the burned out moodlet, the moodlet goes down as normal. It only happens with the dazed moodlet. It happens whether doing anything from sleeping to jogging to watching TV or singing, so not pack-specific.

Oh man. I've never had to deal with the burn out thing last time I played, but I got the expansion pack recently. So I don't know the difference. I thought the reversion to 24 hours was normal. What I'm having to do is spam activities that reduce it until it goes away. It seems like every time I go to start a new calming activity, it reverts back to the lower number I earned during the last one.So like,-- take a bath with soaks--do some painting--run on tread mill, lift weights-- write a book on computer, etc.-- craft objects on crafting tableI have the Spa xpac, so they have massage tables in their house. When everyone has burn out, they invite friends over and all ask for massages. I rotate through those sorts of activities until the moodlet goes away.It's quite an interference to my current gaming project as the thing I'm working on right now is to get 7 Sims at a time through the Cooking Aspiration so I don't have to do it 1 at a time when I go to play a specific Sim. Everyone goes to work together then comes home together. It's pretty hilarious. I built a big ol house with 7 of almost everything. Bars, beds, showers, toilets, computers, etc etc etc. Cracks me up. Anyway. I want to get the achievement over with efficiently. The burn out is kinda getting in my way. But it'll be fine when I go to play them through stories later. >,<P.S., as far as I can tell so far, sleeping helps too!

I'm experiencing an annoying bug in ts4, my sim, who is a conservationist, had the dazed moodlet from the "mental fog" despite not being at work or doing anything specifically mentally taxing. He was at home, suddenly the moodlet appeared, and the time left jumps between 24 hours (if he wasn't actively lowering the moodlet ie walking to an activity or just standing) or 16 hours (if he was actively lowering the moodlet by back floating in a pool etc. it didn't disappear, and even though it still said 16 hours it jumped straight to burnout. Now he can't get a raise, or do anything but take time off of work really. The time left in this new tense burnout moodlet is the exact same, oscillating between 24 and 16 hours, and nothing is changing it. I quite the game and restarted and it made no difference. The other sim in this same household is unaffected, and I repaired the whole game just before this glitch started. I also run zero mods.

Hi @ohnowhatismyID , what happens if you have your sim do some creative activities that are not specific to a pack? I know you mentioned singing, but that's a City Living skill.
I don't know how many activities from other packs are included in the burnout system from Growing Together (which is what your dazed moodlet is from)
For burnout, your sim needs to do activities that use skills from another category from their job. It looks like your sim is in a mental job and needs to exercise some creative skills to balance out.
If your sim paints, plays an instrument, or writes, does that help?

It only reappears as much as I would expect it to! It is more about how I can't stop it from going to burnout even just from watching TV and sleeping all day and it is costing me days (I'm trying to do a play scenario so it's a little annoying to have to take so much time off work).

@ohnowhatismyID OK. That does sound a little different then the creative fog one (which I couldn't duplicate on the Sim).

I've unsplit again and adjusted the title to better reflect the issue.

I now have the same issue in a different save file on a different device with a different family... and it seems to be worse as the burned out moodlet also has the same issue (going down when doing a relaxing activity and then going back up and then some once the activity is over).
