[OPEN] [GRO] Sim just stands there trying to teach bike riding

I have the issue that while a parent is teaching a child to ride a bike, they'll do it for a bit and then suddenly cancel the action. The child continues to learn to ride a bike, but the adults will just cancel during the action. This is even with autonomy off. I've had to stop the child sim and re-ask the parent to teach to ride bike. Sometimes the child sim cancels the action while the parents keep the interaction of teaching to ride a bike (which just happened with me).

I’m having the same issue as well but my sims are in Brindleton Bay. I was able to get my sim to teach his kid how to ride their bike when they were outside the dog park but after trying to teach to ride bike on the street on the street where the houses are, I’m getting the issue where he can’t teach his kid anymore.

I can have a child learn to ride on their own but when you try ask to ask an adult to do it the action immediately cancels.  I've tried in on an empty beach lot  in Sulani, and an empty lot in Newcrest, and even tried to take them off the lot into the "world" and it doesn't work. 

I've left the bike in the adult's inventory, in the kid's inventory and in the world. Immediately after the animation plays asking to teach to ride bike the action cancels immediately and the sims autonomously go do something else.

I have this issue and it's been happening for packs. Anyone found a fix?

This happens every time I try to teach a child.   I have had the parent try to teach and I have had the child try to ask to teach, but neither work.   They just stand there.  Sometimes the kid will go ahead and get on the bike, but its not actually teaching them.  It changes the interaction to just riding a bike.

I have no mods/cc. I never have.

I own most expansions, game packs, and stuff packs.
