[OPEN] [HSY] No Fashion Choice/ Outfit type filters for Trendi Outfits

Was just coming here to report this. It has caused some bizarre scenes in my game where male elders would walk around in skirts and crop tops…

Whenever I make my sim go to shower, instead of going naked and having the pixels, they wear their trendi outfit that I made. Linked is an image of this happening, it also occurs whenever i make my sims shave, which also take multiple times for them to shave it off.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.90.358.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything up to and including High School Years
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Take any sim to Thriftea and enter the Create a fashion look mode
What happens when the bug occurs? Clothing has no Fashion choice filter (what the game uses to differentiate between clothing designed for female-framed sims and male-framed sims). Male-frame specific and female-frame specific clothing are presented with no option to differentiate them.
What do you expect to see? A fashion choice filter for Male and Female similar to CAS and Restaurant uniform design interfaces.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I don't think this is "As designed" because
1. There is no way of correlating created outfits with sim body-frame otherwise. Created outfits don't have a Male and Female fashion choice tags (could have both for mixed outfits) leading to townies wearing weird outfits and ruining immersion
2. It would be inconsistent with all other interfaces that have to do with clothing: CAS, restaurant outfit designer, retail outfit designer.

In-Game, the only consequence of Male and Female outfit-type options seem to be what type of mannequin you have when designing the outfit.

I have the same problem.

My Sim also wears her outfit for bed and sports. It's a full on ball gown so I get a good laugh out of it 🙂

(pleaso note: photos have CC in them. I also tested this without any CC in my game - doesn't make a difference.

I can confirm this for vanilla. Sims wear their trendi outfits randomly instead of swimwear or sleepwear. You can change it manually, but when the Sim e.g. jumps into the pool, he will change back to trendi.
