on the home lot did you try take a cutting from the wild lily then graft it to another plant when that plant is ready harvest it then from the inventory plant the harvested lily to see if it shows as normal when planted
i have a different issue i found a wild lily and it just has view over it and im a lvl 10 gardner i need it to start working towards a death flower
edit: turns out it was probly not ready for harvesting i tried a different area and got one.
