[OPEN] [S] Scenting Flower Arrangements Doesn't Work

While you're at it, hope you all are looking at the scenting problems for flower arrangements. No one seemed to have been acknowledging concerns to issues happening after the  Cottage Living pack update

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to scent a flower arrangement with bluebell. It will appear to work but when you check the flowers it won't say Timeless.
What happens when the bug occurs? No matter how many times you scent a flower arrangement with bluebell it makes no difference at all. It does not create a Timeless flower arrangement.
What do you expect to see? I expect it to create a Timeless flower arrangement. Other flowers work, even rare flowers for their own particular effect. Bluebells do not and they are the most important one. It's virtually a waste of time maxing the flower arranging skill as no matter how high the quality of the arrangements... they'll be wilted in a few days.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The patch to prepare the game for Cottage Living, My First Pet pack and Cottage Living pack itself. One of those factors as it worked literally up to the day before these changes were made. Others are saying it's happened to their game and they don't have cottage living so it may be the patch/update causing a negative knock on effect on the game...which is incredibly frustrating.

Arrangements completed before this issue started are all fine, thank goodness as I'd created a flower shop. I'd like to create another one as that's where my Sims are getting their flower arrangements since they can no longer make their own timeless ones, but until this is fixed I can't. I hope this issue is picked up and patched soon! This feature was one of the reasons I had recently installed Seasons. It's my favourite of all of the skills because I don't think there are enough plants and flowers in decor so this really added something to the game.

For anyone who has Realm of Magic and Get to Work... I've figured out a semi-workaround to still get Timeless arrangements at least just in my Sims homes until this is finally patched.

I've taken already Timeless arrangements from before the bug started as luckily my flower shop wasn't affected. I got my witch sim from Glimmerbrook to buy several of them and then use the "copypasto" spell to duplicate them many times. The copies are all Timeless too. I then put the copied flower arrangements in another retail lot for Sims to purchase.

Even though my witch has the ability to make timeless arrangements herself, this was the only way to do it.

I hope this is addressed soon.

now flower arrangements are not perfumed with certain flowers. The sim does the animation and nothing happens. Others do work like daisies, tulips and roses, but many others have no effect at all - no mods no cc - 100% vanilla game i tested.

I've moved your post to a more relevant board than EA General Questions.

This only seems to be affecting new households. I've gone back to an older household from around spring 2021 and she can still scent timeless flower arrangements just like she always could. But new households can't.

Every time I try to scent a flower arrangement, the option is greyed out. I have it placed on the flower arranging table, I have a variety of flowers in my sims inventory, and my sim's flower arranging skill is at level 3. She needs to be able to do this for a work assignment, but it will not let me do it.
