How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)

What do you expect to see? The window cutout to be flush with the window frame.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made.

Discovered this problem when building. It looks like the cutout for the window is misaligned to the window frame. Have the latest patch, and no custom content.

I'm jumping in to add that I just discovered this issue in my game with the Almost Secure Safety Window and Octopane from Base Game. I've not been actively playing for a few months now but I know that the last time I played the house with these windows in, their cutouts were correct.

I seems as though whatever method the studio is using to create these cutouts now, it's calculating the hole from whichever side of the window has the chunkiest/ thickest frames instead of the thinnest.

I've added some screenshots of my own just for good measure.

  • I also have the same issue.

  • I have this problem too. Really annoying. I don't think I can ever use Porthole Peeper or Almost Secure Safety Window again. Also, I don't think it's because of the thicker/thinner window frames because the Light Box window has this issue as well and the interior is the same as the exterior.

I only noticed it today when I placed the porthole peeper window on my 'broken gable roof' and yes I too can say there are windows with cut-out issues stemming from the internal walls.

Just adding that the Porthole Peeper still having problems so I would guess that others are as well. I noticed it's only on the "inside" of the window where the cutout appears.

What happens when the bug occurs? There are either weird lines around certain corners of the window, or, way too big a transparent area
What do you expect to see? The usual window behaviour

I had to collage the windows together and attach them, because there was a file limit

this was the one that made me notice, though, since it's in the Streamlet Single in Willow Creek that I often move to when starting a new save

Game repaired, mods removed, folder refresh, etc

I can't upload any more attachments on this post but can give my config if needed

    All settings on ultra
