[OPEN] [XB/PS] DLC shows as 'new' every time the game launches

Over the past few months I've purchased 3 Sims 4 DLC, 2 kits and the Univeristy expansion pack. And every time I open the game it comes up with the DLC info popups as if it's the first time I'm opening the game with these DLCs, when it's not. Also in CAS and build/buy every time I go in to those menus every item from those packs in is gold, also saying it's new, when again it is not. I play on console, specifically xbox one, so I'm not sure if it's a console glitch, but it has been happening for around 4 months for me. I though it would go away but it hasn't, and it's really annoying.

This is first time posting here asking for help so if this doesn't make much sense I'm sorry.

Platform: Xbox
Which language are you playing the game in?: English
How often does the bug occur?: Every time I open the game
What is your current game version number?: 1.101.290.1030

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed?: Expansion packs - I have all exact Horse Ranch and Snowy Escape. Game Packs - Dream Home Decorator, Realm of Magic, Parenthood, Vampires, and Dine out. Stuff packs - Tiny Living, Toddlers, Kids room, Vintage Glamour, Movie Hangout, Luxury Party. Kits - Pastel Pop, Desert Luxe, First Fits, Moonlight chic, Caravel streetwear, and Grunge Revival.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves?: In Build/Buy mode or CAS
What happens when the bug occurs?: Recently bought pack items all get indicated as 'new' every time the game is open, although all items has been previously accessed/used 
What do you expect to see?: The game to recognise that these packs are not 'new'
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods?: Non
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system?: Can't pin-point exact start, was around four, maybe five, mouths ago, when i first bought the Grunge Revival and Pastel Pop kits. It was after that point when I noticed the bug/glitch happening
Please describe the patch or change you made.: non

    @soon2bpro there's a bug thread attached for problems where the game thinks that content is new when it isn't.

    If you'd like to take a look and click Me Too on the first post on page 1 and add a reply if you'd like to do so, you should be prompted with a bug template to fill in.

    I wonder if it would help to reinstall your Sims 4 game and content. You can do this by going to Sims 4>manage game and add-ons then in your content information you would need to uncheck the boxes for Sims 4 and your packs then hit Save Changes. Then install them again. When you load your game, everything would show as new but your builds and Sims won't be affected as long as everything is fully reinstalled before returning to your game. After that it might stop telling you it's new everytime. I don't know if it would help but it's an option to try.

    Hi, so after my PlayStation reset and I had to start over (which is a whole other issue in itself), the star icons will refuse to go away for some reason, this happens on both CAS and Build Mode no matter what I do. I would usually ”click” (well, press X) on the item and the star would go away but that doesn’t work either.

    If so you can click Me Too on the first post on page 1 and add a reply too if you'd like to do so, you should be prompted with a bug template to fill in.

    If it is this issue I get it too on Xbox Series X but currently just in CAS. It doesn't seem to affect anything, it just bothers me. But it has been noted at least.

    If it's not this issue could you give us some more details or a screenshot of what you are seeing.

    so it is something similar to that except I don’t get the “Welcome to The Sims 4 XYZ” pop ups, and in CAS every item except the long female hair category has everything listed as new.

    @A_Simmer14 Yeah that's still counted as the same issue in the bug report. I don't get the welcome messages either. My issue is the same as yours. It's different items for me but the same effect. Thanks for confirming the details.
