I haven't played my game in a long time. Can't tell if I had this issue before.
I believe I have the same problem. Except my platform is on the outside of the building.

Here's the missing part of roof trims with platform below it.

Here's the normal roof trim without platform below it.

I haven't tested much, but the other side of the buliding also has platform on the outside but the roof trim isn't affected by any means.

Game is updated to the latest version. Base game only (with free packs and kits). No CC no Mod.

  • Same issue here. It is directly linked to platforms. Shift/place makes no difference.

Did you try holding shift down and adding trim to just those areas?  Sometimes the trim doesn't go all the way around the building.  It needs to be placed at each room.

  • @Emerald_LubkaYep, that looks like yet another platform glitch.

Looking at your build, one thing you might try is using a frieze or exterior trim instead of the roof trim to get it to look nice. (Exterior trim will require a "fence" around the roof to place. A frieze might require a taller wall height.)

    Your English is perfect!
