I don't think that is a bug but probably intented since aging up could mess up the pregnancy.

I don't know if this has been reported yet, but since I could not find anything Im gonna post this anyway.
I made a male sim and started a Challange to let him have 4 babies with a woman before he or she turned adult. I let him meet a woman and she would turn adult in 19, he in 20.
so I started making the babies, and after getting the second one I checked on their ages to see if I had enough time left for the last two. He was going to age in 15 days ans she in 19. She had one day that she was not pregnant and the other days she was, but those days did not go of het lifespawn.Hope I've been clear enough.
And I know that Im not the onely one, because a youtuer (FancySimmer) has the same thing happening, she doesn't know it though xD)

@Mielosh There is so I merged.
I'm unsure if it's a bug. It does sound pretty intended.

Hmn.. Just wondering why that would be intended, because it's also not that way in real life xD
As far as I know, all Sims games have been like this. It never seemed odd to me. I do believe it is intended.
Also, there are several things in The Sims that are not at all like real life, heh. (Aliens, dying of embarrassment, grim reaper, etc.)

I have never had any of my pregnant sims in sims 2 or 3 stop aging when she is pregnant. plus when the sims 4 first came out i didn't have this problem. It was when pools where added the problem for me started. Sometimes my sims will still age, but mostly they stay at the age they was when they were in their 1st trimester. I had a male sim yesterday who got pregnant from an alien but he still aged and he even aged into another life stage with no problem with losing the baby or anything.

This is to prevent any accidental glitches when a pregnant sim ages, especially between Adult and Elder, since Elders cannot become pregnant it could cause weird issues if they allowed the game to normally age for a Adult to Elder sim.

But they don't age at all, even if they nowhere NEAR getting close to change age group
