Random sims entering apartment

How often does the bug occur? Occasionally (10% - 49%)
What is your current game version number? 1.86.166.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Journey to Batuu.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Having a sim who lives in an apartment. Strangers just start walking in and talking.
What happens when the bug occurs? When I play as my sim who lives in an apartment, random sims walk in and start talking to my sim. They don't need to knock or be invited in. I can't ask them to leave either.
What do you expect to see? No random sims to walk into my sim's apartment uninvited, or to at least knock on the door first.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. My game updated to version 1.86.166.1030 when I opened the game today and restarted to apply it. This bug has suddenly started since this update and it never happened to me beforehand.

- @KoalaPandaa do the sims walking into your apartment also pop up a notification message? It's normal for sims with the goofball trait or the erratic trait to ignore door locks and bust into your apartment as part of their trait and the apartment events system.
If you've never had apartment neighbours with those traits before, you may not have noticed it before. But it's been a thing since the launch of City Living and part of the game and not a bug.
If you're seeing other kinds of sims just walking in to your apartment, then that might be some other issue or pack interaction.
