basically anything that passes down to a new baby has an issue. as well as some of the newer traits for children.
Pack animal
perfect host
I have noticed that all of them seem to be related to either social abilities or passed down. beloved locks out because it doesn't like you removing friendships or enemies. funny thing about that is when I feel to overwhelmed, I just give a vampire in and do a drain spirit bite. :P clears them out. Anyways when your sim goes to rebirth and fails. it removes all the traits that it can and leave the traits it cannot. so, before you map to manage worlds to find your new infant and put it in a new npc family take a quick look at what traits your sim has on them before you go. those are all the incompatible ones. basic human sims I never had a problem with rebirthing multiple times as long as they die the same way each time. so 1rst death fire second death lightning it won't work because it looks to remove the death by fire.
