I'm also having this issue! For me the bug appears exclusively on male sims from the gallery in cupids corner. Even using cas.fulleditmode to change voice-type, pitch and genders (male --> female --> male again) has no effect.

I tried to change in CAS as well.  No way to correct the voice.  Something gets corrupted when importing male sims via the gallery in cupids corner.
