You likely will lose all of your playing data as the save file is likely corrupted. Up until now EA have done nothing to fix the issue and long-time players like myself have decided to stop playing the game for a few months now because its unplayable with this bug.
The only thing i can recommend is to go through your game and delete lots & households which you are not overly precious about keeping (also try to remove as many residential rental units). I would bulldoze everything on the lots and set it back to residential. This might start to remove some errors at random on the lots with Green and Orange Exclamation marks throughout your game.
Yeah I stopped playing about 3 months now as well. They don’t seem to have an answer so we can’t continue to play with this bug.

I also stopped playing a few weeks ago. It makes no sense to play with this bug. It's sad that EA doesn't care about the bug and they probably don't care about their loyal paying customers.
