@bedroomvampire Please clear the EA App's cache:
https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
and repair the game: open your game library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > Repair.
If that doesn't help, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see whether the traits appear. If not, try clicking the Randomize button.
hello im having the same problem but this time I'm on windows also my cas( cc wont show either i tried repairing the game and deleting all my mods but it still doesn't work I'm stuck and don't know what to do anymore
pls help?
I have had this same issue for over a few months now and so the only way ive been able to play is with build mode. I have repaired the game via steam (which said it was completely fine btw), updated the game via steam, updated and/or deleted old/broken mods, took out my mods folder completely, deleted that cache file thing, taken out my tray folder, and even taken out all my sims 4 files in order for the game to make new ones and start fresh, but the traits are still invisible and unable to be clicked. Cas.fulleditmode doesnt allow for me to edit traits, uploading sims to the gallery then adding them back into cas doesn’t allow me to edit the traits, etc. The only thing i can think of doing now is completely uninstalling everything and maybe even making a new sims 4 account to start completely fresh, but i really don’t want to lose my sims and builds… If anyone has any advice i would really appreciate it!!!!
