Are you transferring them into a household or adopting them the normal way? It could be buggy just merging kids into a household and not actually adopting them.

@ig607 I have to admit I didnt even try that at first, but checked now, and the whisked away child is not even in the list of kids to be adopted.

I tested this with L&D installed and it works fine with the pack. (Thanks to EA for letting me test the pack)
So it seems a patch issue and you should be able to place them manually.I tested this with a will though but I don't see any reasons why it shouldn't work if you don't have one.
- itsug9 months agoRising Ace@crinrict It seems like you tried to off the parents since the kid is sad btw.
That scenario did work and always worked for me.
Its the scenario of when you can't take care of your kids properly, the kid almost starving and gets whisked away that is the issue.
After child services takes the kid away, I merge the kid with a new family Its after that you can not control the kid.
The issue seems to still be there with Life & Death.
I think its some kind of flag that gets added to kids that get taken from their still alive parents that gets wonky.
