Does it work for you if they are in the same household ?
I did a short test and wasn't able to replicate but currently only have romantic pairs in the same household
@crinrict oops the post now has the right link. And I tested it with the sim's husband who is in the same household and it didn't work.
So I tried again with a new household and it worked with a couple that were in the same household.

For me asking a sim on a date on the phone doesn't wok if their not part of the household but it does via text.
Both of the new households I tried it with were sims I got from the gallery and placed in cas. One was engaged from cas and the other couple were roommates in cas and then I started having them flirting until they could ask each other on a date. @crinrict
