Hi,
it works on another (older) save. But on the save with the bug it's the same with all sims.
Happy new year 🙂- crinrict4 years agoHero+@Annabellesophiek and it's all items or only certain ones ?
Hi,
only certain once. Mostly frogs, fossils, alien collection and artifacts from the magic pack.- CGrant564 years agoHero+
Did you move the sim from one household to another via the ask to join household option? Or did you move the sim using the split household option on a computer or phone? I have had instances when moving a sim either way will cause the items in the sim's inventory to become stuck and you can't do anything with them. All of them will say that the sim does not own them. But I have found a workaround of sorts by using the Gift option on the Friendly socials menu to gift them to another sim and they can then be handled normally. This also works for items that the dust bunnies find for you so they will count for the collections.
Hope this helps.
- crinrict4 years agoHero+@Annabellesophiek Since you say it's all your Sims, I'm not sure if trying to purge the inventory would help but maybe something in one of the inventories bugs it for all.
To be sure, with all Sims, you also mean Sims in other households or are these fine ?
If it's just the household, I would try if it works if you purge inventories. Move everything that you can to another Sim in your household, then use the cheat inventory.purge. Repeat for every Sim in your household.
Then check if it happens again
Try this on a backup of your save.
@CGrant56 Isn't gifting still tied to Seasons ? OP doesn't have that pack. - CGrant564 years agoHero+
Not sure if Gifting is exclusive to Seasons since I have all packs. It's been in the game a long time and I don't remember when it was added or if it was added to base game.
It's easy enough to check though. All you have to do is check the Friendly social options. It seems to always be the first option on the first menu.
