My sim needs to be level 10 at video gaming for an promotion but he alredy is, and it says on work that i have 0 but the skill is complete.
any help?

I have no mods or cc in my game.
it seems to me that the career bar just isn't going up at a reasonable rate by any means.
I am playing on a fresh new game, trying to do a challenge of finishing as many careers as possible from young adult to elder, on normal aging.
My sims are happy, they have their career goals checked off and completed, they go in to work with the emotion they are suggested to need.
If it helps to know, the career of each one sim is entertainer lvl 2 and the other is a painter lvl 2.
The bar just barely moves, and I can see it while they are at work, which wasn't true when Sims 4 was first released.
I switch their activities while at work, I might get a one tick up on the progress bar, and then it stops again. So if I toggle it around between "normal" and "work hard" and "socialize" and stuff, it will sometimes give me a tick up. But it is broken!
I'm sad!
