To me it's in the live mode. I've tested it with placing a couple from the gallery which is thicker so you can see it really good that they just get a reset to slim Sims when I save the game. (Both muscles and body weight are in the middle of the sliders.) Actually I don't know what happens when you have a Sim which is already quite thin but guess it'll be the same.

I've made screenshots of the sliders so I could put them back to their normal size which I had for the Sims in the first place or, like I said, put them in as new household. But guess it wasn't intended to do it that way all the time (when you need to de- and re-install the game or place Sims from the gallery right into the game).

Don't know if it's related to that in the link you've posted. Maybe it is or it's at least similar.

If it's only in live mode, I'm inclined to say it's the same.

Could you post your pictures ?

    Here are the pics.

This one shows their normal size in CAS.

This one shows them after I've actually placed them in Willow Creek (in my normal save game they live in Newcrest) and saved the game. That's when both sliders are in the middle and I would have to go into CAS via cheat and put them back to what's seen in the screenshot above.

Oh, yours is about the body weight only or also about the muscle mass ?

Try remove his shirt so you can see the actual muscle mass (you know the sixpack and stuff)

I'm having this same issue but it's when I go into CAS using a closet or dresser, and it's when I put a sim in a lot directly from the gallery! I tested it out after making him a "new household" and putting him in CAS with a dresser, and his body stayed the same!

I hope this issue gets fixed. Kind of annoying!

Is this on a new Sim or is it fine the first time and then it resets ?

If you download them on the gallery, then I don't consider them new Sims.

So question is: does it happen to you, if you create a Sim in CAS and then take it to live mode ? If so, which settings do you have it ?

Seems it is only the Sims from the gallery (my own created sims that I saved but didn't put in a house) are having this issue.

To test it, I just made four sims, one with each different max and none of them changed. I took them out then took them from my gallery and inserted them into a lot. Had them go into CAS and they all changed to even mass and weight!!

For me to change their bodies back, I have to use testingcheats true and cas.fulleditmode, and they keep it if I put them back into CAS with the dresser.

I also added a sim from gallery into the lot house (with the cheats on) and left CAS before going back in, and the new sim didn't lose their mass and weight.

Are those older Sims or also when you newly put them in the Gallery ?

As with the four testing Sims, they were maybe a few minutes old when I took them from the gallery and put them in a lot, and into CAS where their mass and weight were reset.

With another Sim, he was created on 05/19/2016 and he was in the gallery for maybe a week (maybe a bit longer) before I put him in his lot and after he finished work, I took him in the CAS. Took me a few minutes to realize his mass and weight I had him on was reset. I honestly thought it was because he ate a grilled cheese sandwhich until I took him from the gallery (with his mass and weight), put him in an empty lot and threw him in CAS with a dresser, where I saw the reset.

So if I understand you right, it also is no longer visible in CAS either and not only live mode ?

Do you have an example which Sim it happens too ? Name of the Sim in your Gallery.

OKAY!!! Those are the last ones!!!

So sorry for the spam. Was only allowed to put three pics in at a time 😢

And when I left the CAS from the dresser (either confirming it or canceling it), the reset body stayed!!!

    Great thank you.

Just wanted to make sure it's not the other muscle mass issue (which I really hope to be solved

Tagging @SimGuruNick @SimQARobo @SimGuruArvin to see if this is still on their radar now that the other issue should be fixed ?

    @crinrict @Kuroiseki

The original muscle mass issue should be fixed for players that have set their Sims to “very high quality,” within the graphic settings. This was done on purpose for performance reasons. It was a visual issue that occurred directly from CAS to live mode.

Based on the screenshots for this new issue, the Sims appear drastically different. They look like they lost all their weight and muscle mass. It also occurs in a slightly different way, and not directly from CAS to live mode. When Sims are placed from the library or gallery though manage worlds, the issue occurs after using the dresser.

I am currently looking into it.

Thanks for the report and info!

I agree it is different .. But it's not exactly new ... as you can see by the date of this thread

The other issue has it's own thread which I will gladly mark as fixed
