    Mountain Climb Excursions now start instead of automatically canceling. Let's go conquer those climbs together!

    Fixed in Patch 1.90.358/1.91

    If you're still experiencing this issue, please create a new thread.

    I do hope this fix is also for existing saves.

Hi, I found a workaround for broken saves to now work. The workaround is to disable Snowy Escape by right-clicking on The Sims 4 in your games library and select Game Properties and then type in -disablepacks:EP10 and save it. Open the corrupted save and play it without having Snowy Escape. The game will remove anything related to Snowy Escape and once you enable the pack you will be able to plan the excursion again! But do note that if you do this and have anything important related to Snowy Escape will be lost! So keep that in mind!

    Can confirm this works. I forgot to upload my sim to the gallery beforehand so she lost all her skills related to snowy escape but that’s not a big deal really. I also didn’t bother to save the house I was working on but I was ok with losing it - I am BAD at building. 

    Could be a bit of a pain if you’ve got multiple custom builds and households in Mt. Komrebi but if you’re ok with either losing stuff or taking the time to save everything in the gallery, then it seems like it does fix corrupted saves.

    I can’t type disablepacks:EP10 in any option. Where?

      @biljana72 If you play through Origin, right-click on the game in your library, click "Game Properties", then "Advanced Launch Options", and type this into the box labeled "Command line arguments".

    Yes!! Thank you!! Disabling, then 're-abling' the SE pack works! WOOT WOOT and a happy dance! Thank you!  It basically makes your save a 'new save' as far as the expansion pack is concerned. 

    A big thank you to original poster, EnderrGrande and all others who have tested and provided instructions!! ❤️

      I managed a workaround on this;

      1. After completing the update that was released ahead of Cottage Living,
      2. I saved my Household to my library (From Manage Households - Select family, take them into CAS (click the pencil icon in lower right). Then click the folder in the upper right corner to save to the My Library tab). 
      3. Created a new save with a random Sim
      4. Merged my existing Household to the new Save
      5. Onsen Bathhouse is now loading when selecting Plan Social Event

      All skills, achievements, aspirations etc...are kept for my desired family doing it this way

    @LunarBritney Hey, thank you for your help! It worked the first time (yesterday) when I disabled this pack. However, when I tried to plan the Mountain Excursion, it didn't work again. Do you have any idea how to make this thing work permanently? Thank you!

        @Pufinka1 I know new game is fine because my newer save created after the problematic save has no problem.

        But I wanted to do excursion in the problematic save not a new save, so I needed a solution.
