@crinrict These are the traits that my Sim has
- @leafstorm27 Wonder if the fear of swimming has anything to do with it.
Could you try curing it and try again ? @crinrict I cured the fear of swimming, and when I tried again, this time, he goes into the bog, and even though his portrait icon remains, he disappears and it still doesn't take me to CAS to initiate the Rebirth. Should I try removing some other trait? Or is this more of a bug fix for the devs?

- @leafstorm27 I removed the romantic sage trait and afterwards it worked for me.
Made a new thread but it would be good if you could remove the trait and see if that works for you too.
Let me know if you need instructions. @crinrict I removed the trait, tried it, and now the Rebirth process works! My Sim has officially been Reborn! What a strange bug. Thank you so much for figuring it out, you're amazing!
Super curious if a modder could look at what in each trait triggers it, and if we can get a full list. RN it seems to be the untroubled and romatic sage trait, prob gonna be more.

Keeping the untroubled one separate as it already has a bunch of me toos and was linked places.
Still keeping this one separate to have control over the first post. I have the exact same issue and never had a fear of swiming. Goes into the Bog, Gives the Rebirth dialogue and then just disappears......
Hey, so i had the same issue where she would swim in the bog, give me the dialogue and then disappear. Thank God I have MCCC and it triggered an error which I sent them on Discord and they told me to remove the Romantic Sage trait. It worked. Seeing as you also have this one, do try it. Hopefully it will work for you as well 🙂
