I don't know if it matters, but my diagonal walls are only one tile, not two. And it has a window on it. I used to be able to do this prior to the patch.
Just amended my prior reply with additional photos.
Here are the two tile tests you asked for. I need the one tile capability again. Check post #3 for the first two tests, including window.

That's great, thanks for the extra pics. There have also been reports of wall deco acting the same way so it may be a bug since the new window placement was introduced in the patch. That sounds reasonable and explains why some wall decorations are disappearing after loading older houses. As long you guys are aware of the issue and looking into it, I’m good. Let me know if you need more input.

I don’t work for EA 🙂 After testing more and seeing other posts about the deco objects I believe this has simply been exacerbated by the window alt placement feature introduced in the June patch. Maybe it is as intended? For now you’ll need to use MOO to get the desired effect.
