No, he wasn't, and now that I turned him back into a normal Sim with the cheat traits.remove_trait trait_OccultMermaid he still has the mermaid interface with hydration and the weird behaviour in the bathtub.
Okay so I used the cheat again now with the Sim's Name after traits.remove_trait occultMermaid_discovered and got rid of the animation, now it's only the mermaidinterface with hydration that is still present.
Okay now the animation's back again..
I removed the mermaid interface:
traits.remove_trait trait_OccultMermaid_TYAE
then the animation:
traits.remove_trait trait_OccultMermaid_Discovered
Both worked.
After that I restarted the game. The interface was still normal however the trait trait_OccultMermaid_Discovered returned for some reason.
What do you mean by mermaids being recovered? And yes, for some reason the trait gets added to my non-mermaid Sim as well, I already cleared the cache and repaired the game but I couldn't fix it.
I guess my Sim is living with a mermaid and therefore always "discovers" her and gets the trait back. But if I understood correctly the trait shouldn't give him mermaid animations because he isn't a mermaid he just discovered one. So the problem is that the trait isn't working as it should?
