Secret Agent Career: "Take Risks" Prevents Promotion & Gives Wrong Moodlets

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Journey to Batuu, Laundry Day Stuff Pack, Spooky Stuff Pack, and the kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Have a sim in the Secret Agent career 2. While at work, make sure you select the "Take Risks" interaction 3. Have the sim's work performance reach to excellent with the golden checkmark 4. Wait until the sim returns home from work
What happens when the bug occurs? I receive a notification with the usual "[Sim Name] brought home [simoleon amount] today. [He/she] did some superb work too!" The sim received one of any of these moodlets: "Confident from Intimidating Lackeys", "Confident from a Big Break at work!", "Confident from Successful Risky Mission!", or "Sad due to Failed Mission!" The work performance bar slightly lowered back to excellent without the golden checkmark.
What do you expect to see? The sim getting promoted to the next level of their Secret Agent career without receiving the wrong confident moodlets from other careers.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

I noticed that one of my sims in the Secret Agent career wasn't getting promoted so I tried again in a new save. I removed my mods and clear the cache to see if it wasn't my mods ruining this but turned out it wasn't the case. Instead, I received the wrong moodlet from taking risks. I got the confident moodlet from the Criminal Career which may be why my sim wasn't getting promoted.
Update: My sim also received another confident moodlet that usually appears in the Entertainer career, Patron of the Arts branch, and the Journalist branch. I inserted the picture below.
I remember this same problem of not getting promoted in the Conservation career but never had a case of not getting promoted because of selecting the "Take Risks" interaction during work.
