Serenade on Piano not working

What is your current game version number? Version: 1.96.397.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get Together, City Living, Seasons, Island Living, Discover University, Snowy Escape, Cottage Living, Parenthood, Dream Home Decorator, Luxury Party Stuff, Romantic Garden Stuff, Backyard Stuff, Bowling Stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a Sim with level 6 Piano Skill stand beside a piano with a Sim they have a romantic relationship with and try to select "Serenade" on the Piano.
What happens when the bug occurs? The Serenade option is greyed out and says the Sim can only serenade a nearby romantic interest, even though they are beside the piano with their romantic interest Sim.
What do you expect to see? The Serenade option to be available
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
As you can see in the screen shot attached the option should be available, but it isn't.
