Sim has to start from level 1 after quitting mastered culinary career and rejoin

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Snowt escapes, island living, seasons, city living, get together, batuu, magic, parenthood, tiny living, laundry day
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Master culinary career, publish a cookbook. Quit career and start new ones about 2 or 3 times, wait a little.
What happens when the bug occurs? Already pusblished book is gone - no royalty income anymore. Have to start the career from the very beginning now.
What do you expect to see? Restart career at only a few levels under previous level, (this would have been possible eight after I quit, but went away), keep ability to write cookbooks since career had been mastered. Keep already published work.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

So this is what happened:

My sim had the culinary career mastered and already pusblished a cookbook.

Then I quit the job so she could take better care of her toddler. Right after quitting I still had the option to start the culinary career again, just a couple levels under what I had. I still got royalty payments for my cookbook, all was well.

I tried a few (3 I think) work from home careers, so she could stay with the toddler but earn a little on the side. None of them I really liked or they required too much travel to make them work with the toddler. 

Now suddenly the cookbook disappeared from my royalties list. And when I searched for a job, culinary career was listed with level 1 pay again. Do you only have a short amount of time to get back into a career before you get demoted more?? Did I switch jobs too often so the game didn't "remember" I used to be a cook?

I could live with starting at level 1, i should be able to get promoted real fast, since I have the required skills maxed of course. But that my published work just diappeared off the face of the earth really sucks :/ also I would've liked to be a self employed cookbook writer so long as the child is still a toddler and then go back. But I can't. Could write other books, but that seems rather incoherent with the cooking persona....
