Sims wandering off with no action queued to perform

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.77.146.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything EXCEPT Journey to Batuu, and kits: Courtyard, Country, Throwback.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure. Baffled, in fact.
What happens when the bug occurs? The played sim, which I turned off autonomy for, doesn't have any action queued up or waiting in the active field, yet is wandering off from the actions I do have queued up. Example: In the recent case, the sim was feeding the baby, and I focused on, but did not click on, another sim to see where they were, and when I went back to my active sim to queue up a few more interactions with the baby, she started walking down the steps with nothing in the action box. The interactions I had begun to fill the queue with remained in the upper part of the box and did not descend to an action. She was going to get a drink of water, though her hunger bar was full, but it didn't show up at all.
What do you expect to see? My active sim should be waiting for my instructions on the next action I'm about to queue up. Or, alternatively, if there is some big event going on, like a sim dying, there should be an interaction present in the queue to tell me what is so important, as this has happened before, so I thought perhaps this time she was going to witness a death.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It happened on both my laptop version and my desktop version of the game after July 27th.

I turned off autonomy on my active sim but not the other sims. I haven't tested to see if I turn off full autonomy on all of the sims if it still happens.

@home8896 Is it always going for a drink of water or do other interactions interrupt ?

With this it's usually important which interaction interrupt.

What are your autonomy settings ? Did you turned it off in general or just for not active Sims ?

Shortly after this, she went to the computer to research art. She isn't a special sim. With Knox Greenburg, he likes to stop everything and either go sort through the trash or talk about eco lifestyle to random sims, but I know he's bugged to the moon and back with all kinds of issues. I also know the stopping to go critique decor is another issue, so I'm not really including that one.
The interruption is annoying, but it has no indication of an action queued up, and that puzzled me, the most.

I have this happen rarely, but they don't usually do anything. Sometimes, they will just stop their tasks before finishing, usually revolving around my toddler. Even with autonomy off. My toddler also had a habit of taking an hour to walk outside just to pass out from sleep exhaustion, instead of falling asleep where they were. I don't know if that's the same issue though.

@home8896 Ive noticed Sims will perform lots of "hidden" actions autonomously even with autonomy off for the selected Sim. Especially when it comes to reacting to something ie: decor

@home8896 What are your autonomy settings ? Did you turned it off in general or just for not active Sims ? Do they ever do anything queued on their own ?

I have this constantly - they either get water or will walk upstairs the to view the bathtub for the hundredth time.
You shouldn't have to switch likes off in order for them to behave normally. Even the materialistic sims only admire a new object once so why can't they admire decor once?

I feel like the whole queue has become so broken. Some things don't seem to show up in the queue but they prevent the sim from doing things anyway and can't be cancelled because they're not in the queue. Other things are in the queue but you still can't cancel them or you do cancel them but the sim does them anyway. Things you put in the queue for your sim to do get cancelled or ignored. And things get stuck in the queue whether you're sim has done them or not. They just hang there and you have to reset your sim to make them go away. The queue is there for the player to control what the sim is doing but there is less and less player control.

The settings I was using were autonomy off for the active sim, but not for all sims. I like to play out some interactions, but let others in the household do whatever while I am controlling a sim.
I just watched a Dr. Gluon video from 8 months ago on my work break, last night. I watched his active sim go up a long ladder to the roof to celebrate completing a holiday activity. It wasn't showing anything about going up to the roof for any reason. So this isn't new, I guess.

@home8896I've got this too. What's happening for me is my sim does things on her own even though autonomy is off. She'll walk to random places, ignore commands or go to where I say to go and then walk off again. She'll go to the pier to talk to someone next to her. It makes it impossible to play. It happens in all worlds.
