All sims are asleep except the baby, and time usually speeds to ultra until one of older sims wakes up, but when i press 3 to speed up time it reverts back to speed 1 and won’t let me speed up at all.What do you expect to see? Never used.Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? NoI’ve made sure there are no sims on my lot, nothing is happening to cause time to go back to 1. I’ve tried repairing the game, exiting to MW, resetting sims, deleting the localthumbcache file. Nothing works.

@crinrict I have just tested it on my new laptop which has much higher specs, issue is still there just to confirm.Speed 2 and 3 do not work either. It just forces back to speed 1 immediately. Speed 2 and 3 work while someone is awake, but whenever Ultra speed is supposed to automatically be on, suddenly none of the speeds work past 1.

@CheyZ543 To be sure, it's ultra speed that's not working for you. It's not that you can't even use speed 3 when they are asleep ?I did also have ultra speed kick in but I'll try again to be sure. Edit I tested with everyone sleeping and could finally see what you mean but only in the household in henford that's currently the active one. Maybe it's even just a small time window cause after checking some other families it worked fine for that one too. EDIT EDIT: Can you try loading another family, check if it works there (send everyone to bed, do ultra speed), then go back to your other family and try there.

@HeLoves Is your other laptop also a mac ? Did you test multiple save games to see if it's save game related ?

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? most of them including growing together
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? have your sims go to sleep
What happens when the bug occurs? time won't fast forward and when manually set to 3 times speed changes back to speed 1 after a second or two
What do you expect to see? Time fast forwards quickly when all sims are asleep. It shouldn't change speeds by itself
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

When my Sim is sleeping, only that for some reason, I click on ultra speed, and it auto goes back to normal speed after about 2 seconds.
Ive already tried repairing my game, please help.

Could you try switching to another household and back ?
