[ARCHIVED] Stuck in their Shadow: Doesn't move on from Scenario Complete

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play through the scenario, more details below. This particular time I am using a home from the gallery. I don't know if that counts as customization or mods.
What happens when the bug occurs? The scenario steps of Stuck in their Shadow, Team up with Lewis are all marked complete (Get promoted to: Startup Entrepreneur or eSports Gamer, Reach level 6 Programming Skill, Listen to Lewis' Proposal), but the scenario will not continue. I am an eSports gamer and after hearing his proposal, declined to team up with him. For a previous choice, I chose to allow him to stay the night. I am able to invite him to my house and re-ask him to stay the night, or kick him out (both were previous scenario choices). These options look just as they did when I was choosing for the previous step, but do nothing to push the scenario along.
What do you expect to see? The scenario completed
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I have tried various options with this scenario and I can never get it to complete.

Is there any way to go through the choices and get this to complete? I don't even care about what I WANT to do in the scenario anymore, I just want it done.

I would have all the steps marked as done and the game would not proceed to the next step of the scenario.

Could you maybe add some pictures ?

Is this still the same that was bugged before or did you start over with the scenario ?

So far, the only way I have been able to complete this scenario was to be friends with Lewis and agree to join his team or project or whatever it was. I'm afraid I do not have pictures, as once I got through the scenario I deleted all of the saves and was just grateful to stop replaying it. I'm sorry I cannot be of further help.

EA claimed to have fixed it with the October 2023 patch or something. But the bug is still there. I can't get past the "Au Revoir" tasks even when I've completed them. I have the latest version of the game. (Since EA automatically updates the game anyway).
