Hi! I have a similar issue (dunno if its worth making it in a new thread), the action is not canceled, but there r looooong pauses between everything a sims does. For instance, i give the order "grab a meal" so the sims walk to the meal, Pause, grab the plate, pause, walk to a sit, pause, sit, pause, start eating pause, grab a bite, pause..... Every pause are like 30 minutes sims time. i had sims that die starving and from extenuating for never compliting an action, cos it takes soo much time that they pee on theirselves, fall sleep, miss work... Their bars are most of the time in red cos it means hours of the day just to go to the toilet.
I have this issue since te update before Get together.
Are you using mods or custom content ? Do you have lots of stuff in your inventory.
I dont use mods nor even cc. I keep the inventaries almost empty

* I am use to use the "Can I Run It" page tu check if i meet the requeriments, but i dont understand why the video card dont reach the recomended status...

* I dedicated to empty every inventary, not just the ones of the sims, but also family chest and freezer (I earn almost 2M simoleons!)
* My house is rly big and decorated, i usually play Legacys so the house is expanded over time (generations)
- I noticed that the pauses never happen in the laboratory, police station nor hospital.
- The longer pause its when the action is completed, when the circle is full, it stays like that a rly rly long time....
- The times r odd, i mean, they r supposed to go to work/schools at 8 am but they r picked up at 2 or 3pm,
Talking with simers with similar issues, one told me the solution she found for herself, and it worked for me (at least so far): PLAY DISCONECTED FROM ORIGIN.
Pauses are basicly gone. There r still some delays when menus appear, accion being queued but if i remember correctly thats another issue that began with the 64bits version.
It feels like, when u play an online game and complain about the lag...
BUt still instead to waiting hours (4-6 sims hours) u just have few minutes delay (1-3 sims minutes).
My sims wont die anymore xD!
