Vintage Glamour, Vampires, Spooky Stuff, Spa Day, Seasons, Romantic Garden, Realm of Magic, Perfect Patio, Parenthood, Outdoor Retreat, Movie Hangout, Luxury Party, Laundry Day, Kids Room, Jungle Adventure, Holiday Celebration, Get Together, Get to Work, Get Famous, Fitness Stuff, Dine Out, Cool Kitchen, City Living, Cats and Dogs, Bowling Night, Backyard Stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to write a book for longer than a few in-game hours, or until the action cancels itself and keeps doing so when attempts are made to resume.
What happens when the bug occurs? Action to write is canceled. I cannot get the sim to continue.
What do you expect to see? Given that my sim has the 'carefree' trait I expect the 'writer's block' tense moodlet not to effect my play.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I know this bug has been around before, but for me either it never left or it's back with a vengeance.
I haven't played for a few years, but came back thinking I'd give it another go and I am now facing a bug that there doesn't seem to be a workaround for.
I do use mods, mostly to control aspects of the game that are either buggy or excessive is some way and interferes with the flow of the game, but this problem persists even when the mod folder is completely removed.
