2024 packs ideas for 10th anniversary

I would love hotels and casinos and some more exotic vacation destinations. Still holding hope that we might get a GP later in the year. I don't think they do stuff packs anymore, think they replaced them with updates and kits.

I think sports needs an EP or at least a GP. I would love to see tennis and some water sports especially wind surfing.

We all ready have enough male dominated sports (football, basketball, soccer, baseball equipment, and the boxing thing) in the game. We need more sports with a lower gender gap since this game is played by more females. There are already enough male dominated games with male dominated sports.

Ballet and karate, plus crafting activities like sewing, pottery and glassblowing in a hobbies and crafting pack

I still feel like it would make more sense if

Hotel lot type = base game update
Cars, motorcycles etc = expansion pack

even just from money perspective
I don't think adding cars in base game would make people buy more of the existing packs?

i mean is there really existing pack you need if you had cars?? I guess they could make garage kits and whatever though

and there really isn't perfect world for driving purposes in the game as it is so i would feel there needs to be such world added anyway

but if you add hotels

all the existing travel themes probably get a boost cause people get excited about having their sims travel to places,

you could put hotels in every world meaning more worlds sounds like more fun

they could sell more gps, kits, stuff packs in travel themes cause there is countless places we could still explore countless decor themes hotels could have etc.

and even as player having hotels in base game could be good cause they could possibly make it so you can combine them with pack lot types such as spas and restaurants and whatever since it is base game

anyway this has been Simmingal desperately trying to convince EA hotels should be added in base game and it would make them money even if its in base game thank you for your time :lol:

please larger household sizes that do not need mods, currently if I have five in my family say 1 adult, 2 children and 2 pets, when my sim wants to marry and when the add to household screen comes up after the marriage, family goes to red border after adding step parent, so unable to add to family, I have to use cheats to force add sim to household, the EA max is 8 but transfer between households screen only allows five max.

There are definitely more pack ideas that I hope come to fruition, hotels/resorts topping my list.

For the 10th anniversary though I would like to see some pack refreshes. I think it would be a great way to celebrate long term players and entice some newer players to buy older packs.

The game is largely gender neutral and girls can play all of those sports you mentioned if you choose to let them. Girls can even join the football team in High School Years, and boys can cheer. And unless I'm missing something, I don't think we have useable baseball equipment in the game yet. I'd like at least a glove and ball so our Sims can play catch together.
I would also like to see the putting green, ballet barre, volleyball, and the Sims 3 chin up bar to return. I'd also like to see the martial arts skill and sparring reintroduced as it was in Sims 3 World Adventures. Strangerville's reintroduction of the "sparring" left a lot to be desired).
And it's positively strange that we don't have a stationary bike yet, considering that's the icon that appears when the Sims want to exercise.

We’re actually in 2023 right now, it’s not 2024. Also, Sims 4 came out in September 2014. Which makes the game 9 years old not 10.?

I think anything they do for the 10th anniversary should be part of the base game, so it's for all players.

Yes, I know that girls can play the male dominated sports already in the game. I’m female though so prefer that my sims play sports that I can relate to. I don’t watch or play football, basketball, soccer, baseball or do any boxing as I find them boring. I’m not requesting that EA remove those sports, but to add sports that more females like as well.
