Just started reading... I'm sorry to hear about your game performance woes :( Definitely download from the Gallery with caution. I forbid custom content, so I always look for NoCC hashtag, and I browse the Lot forum and only download from well known creators.. But to be fair, I haven't downloaded much. I prefer building my own stuff :) and for curiosity's sake, what kind of computer are you using to play? I'm wondering if lowering your settings will help. And deleting the cache files routinely.
