a "Combat Sports" (Pro-wrestling, MMA, boxing, and martial arts) Kit / Pack idea

so this idea has been lingering about in the back of my mind for a bit but has been on my mind more actively recently.
Why? Because I know one kinda well-known female pro-wrestler who periodically streams The Sims 4 (from console). And I know at least one other wrestler (a male) who expressed interest in the game though wasn't sure about streaming it.
The female pro-wrestler is Jessicka Havok from Impact Wrestling. Oh and I think another Impact Wrestler named Su Yung might also have the game and play it but don't know if she streams (or what she streams if she does). The male wrestler is Zak Zodiac aka Zak Knight / aka the brother of WWE superstar Paige.

Anyways, it got me thinking about an idea for a kit or pack. Essentially a "Wrestling, MMA, boxing, and martial arts" pack (though it would need another name and I am not sure the Sims Team would use a name like "Combat Sports" pack though it would be appropriate.

What it would basically have:

  • At least two types of rings: One for Pro-wrestling and boxing. Another one for MMA (or Mixed Martial Arts) with a "cage" around it. (Though I have seen someone make an MMA cage in the game using the chain - link fencing from the Get to Work pack for the cage. That particular fencing would work for a pro-wrestling cage match too.)
  • A mat for basic martial arts and wrestling (like high school and collegiate wrestling, etc) (though much of that could be done in a ring as well. actually some of of the martial arts stuff could be done about anywhere like Yoga).
  • The animations for the sports. Skills as well perhaps. (Martial Arts was included as a skill in one of the earlier Sims games as I recall and I would lump MMA with that. I would say the wrestling and boxing would be just the fitness / athletics skill. Boxing is partially in the game already via the punching bag as well.)
  • a few 'decorative items' like title belts that could be put in displays. Those would preferably need to be separated into the belts for their respective sports. (honestly... would love to see other sports trophies as a whole in the game besides the existing ones.)
  • a few CAS items like Wrestling Headgear (most used in High School and Collegiate wrestling and in sparring for boxing. I know of one pro-wrestler who uses the headgear in pro-wrestling to keep his hearing aid in.), the 'entrance robes' like used in boxing and occasionally in pro-wrestling... (and let's be honest, Ric Flair's and Charlotte Flair's entrance robes would be hilarious as costume pieces.) a Martial Arts Gi, etc

Depending on what kind of pack or if it was a kit, a few things might be added or left out.

Honestly, I'd be happy with just having the title belts and some other sports trophies added as decorative items.

Though the idea started rumbling around in my head a bit after seeing Jessicka learning to play the game on stream and seeing Su comment in chat on a few things as well as chatting with Zak Zodiac about the game once on his stream. I've honestly barely put thought into the Martial Arts and MMA part of it besides "martial arts" being a skill in a past game. And I only added boxing because some of the animations are already in the game thanks to the punching bag.

Thoughts?

For a single Kit, it's a heavy concept, at least karate can be added as a Kit, like ballet for example.

But your concept can be added to a Sports SP or Hobbies GP.
  • I really would not mind any of this but a kit is not where I would want to see it we either get build mod objects cas or game play not all in one kit.
  • I just wish they'd add more after-school activities.
Freakin' every teenager in my game is in scouts... it's a bit of overkill. Would be nice if there were some other options for them--karate is definitely one I'd like to see, though I don't know if we really need other martial arts, the Sims isn't exactly a combat-heavy game.

A single after-school activity would be enough.
  • I like this idea though I wonder if a sim is creating robots would those robots be able to fight to the death Battle Bots style in this pack idea also?

There could be premade wrestlers such as Hull Cogan, Sim Flair, Barry Windsim, Kenny Beta, Eddie Simston, etc.

I know a few pro-wrestlers who would gladly let The Sims use their names in game and make Sims of them. As I mentioned in the original post, that is what prompted the brainstorming idea.

Wouldn't mind seeing that either! I mean the servos are in the game so why not take it a step further.
  • I’d love all of this in a GP or EP, as long as it comes with a new social called “Trash Talk” .

I like the idea of a pack that has Martial Arts, Boxing, Wresting etc. I would love to have a boxer or MMA character in the game. It would be fun. However instead of having Martial Arts which would have made actual sense for Snowy Escape as a skill to learn. instead of adding in Martial Arts for a Japanese inspired world, we get snowboarding, skiing and rock climbing instead.
