We have some fitness packs that include new treadmills and punching bags but there doesn't seem to be any objects or accessories for when building a gym. For example, you go to a gym and there are holders containing barbells and the like but other than gym equipment and mirrors, what exactly can we use to accessorise or decorate a gym with?

Dumbell racks woukd be great, also there is a supplement/whey protein decor that acts as a wall lamp.

This is a fun topic. I've recently started going to the gym again IRL but I'm actually enjoying it this time lol. I agree that a rack of free weights or kettle bells would be cool! Also, my gym has a tall rack of medicine balls ranging in weight and colors. A large yoga ball (or whatever they're called) would be cool too. All this could honestly just be decor, because I don't really think working out needs to be updated or more versatile. Just aesthetics. It'd be cool to be able to make more than just the high protein plate and the protein shake to pump up your Sim. Perhaps shakes that have specific enhancements, like lose weight faster, build muscle faster, no fatigue or muscle soreness after workout out, etc. And of course just lots of gym related decoration like towels, water fountains, scales, hanging punching bags, those busts you use for boxing practice (I think?), shakers, supplements, etc.I also have been wanting swimwear that is more along the lines of professional swimwear, not just cute stuff lol.

The fitness pack was really quite a missed opportunity, wasn't it? Call me boring, but I would've loved some plain old barbells and benches over the rock climbing monstrosity, as cool as it may be.

I really do like they two tv exercise classes. My Sims use both channels at home and at the gym. I play a lot of fitness type Sims as in real life I was always a fitness freak too - so for me Sims engage a lot in fitness, yoga, etc, etc. Most of my Sims work out a little in the mornings before work using their tv workout - and then a couple times a week I send my Sims to either a spa or gym or a combines gym to work out after work.

I'd love to see a yoga ball/bosu ball too!

They have so much from previous packs to be inspired by. They could have added
- elliptical
- spin cycle
- rowing
- hamster wheel (a treadmill in ts2 ps2)
- dance class (rumba?)
- Pilates
- dumbbells
- skipping rope

The dance class is on the the tv by the way if you have the fitness pack. There is two types. There is a hamster wheel for hamsters in the My first pet Pack in their cage. Also if you have the two fitness type packs - click them to light up those packs and then check the decor in build/ buy mod for those packs as well as the spa pack even and you will see more gym type decor so it is easier to find when building your gym. Hopefully that helps.

I also make a juice bar in my gyms... for actual juice. LOL.

Yup I feel like The Sims 4 is trying something unorthodox in each of its pack, this pack is one of them.

Agree with this. Laundry day is probably the only one that isn't garbage but even at that I rather the mechanic came with seasons
