It's a Teen game. They aren't going to allow teenagers play a game where it's possible for a parent to not be happy for their child.
Actually feels like a E for everyone game if that is considered offensive. I've seen and played teen rated games that are more offensive than that. XD Oh man has the Sims been watered down over the years. No wonder we have "woohoo" now. I actually want a fun game, not an overly politically correct one. Sorry, but I want my game to feel like a teen rated game for a change and I want to rule it. I think Gruffman's suggestions are very good and not offensive in the very least. I should have the choice if I want my Sims to suffer or not. I don't play perfect families. So I want to be able to make stories to reflect that.
If that is how you feel I doubt you use the trait anyways, so just don't use it. Use the happy positive traits. Let us who use negative traits make it more meaningful for our game play.
The abuse that happens daily on forums is more offensive and teen rated than anything in the Sims 4 anyways.
The Sims has never allowed a parent to hate/dislike their own children.
That's very inaccurate. I usually have at least one family I play in each iteration where the father and son are sworn enemies before it's all said and done. Yes, I do have to direct the sims to do certain interactions but your statement makes it sound like it's not possible for parents to hate/dislike their children in the game at all and that's not correct.
