Advice as to what to do with a space

I am not entirely certain what to do with this space.  It is a 3 tile wide hallway that is attached to the kitchen and dining room area.  I don't want to put an office there.  I am thinking something...

 Could you perhaps make it into a small sitting area with a bar counter and perhaps musical instruments? You could include plants there also.
